After nights in London and Leeds, Thy Catafalque closed out their UK run in Glasgow last night with support from the incredible @aelfierlen ✨
The vision of @thy_catafalque has always existed beyond borders and beyond genre. The band is one of the most forward-thinking forces in extreme music, merging black metal with the avant-garde.
Joining them on this run, Æl-Fierlen brought their haunting blend of black metal, shoegaze and folk from the south of England 🍁

🇧🇷Rockultura apresenta: CDM Metal Fest Dia 2 Thy Catafalque
Com uma proposta muito própria e fugindo dos caminhos mais tradicionais do metal extremo, o @thy_catafalque trouxe ao CDM Metal Fest uma apresentação carregada de atmosfera, experimentação e identidade musical.
Misturando diferentes elementos sonoros e criando um clima muito particular no palco, a banda conduziu um show que chamava atenção justamente pela dinâmica da apresentação. Vocalistas homens e mulheres entravam e saíam do palco a todo momento, trazendo diferentes interpretações e criando uma movimentação constante durante o show, algo bem diferente do que normalmente se vê em apresentações desse estilo.
Entre momentos mais pesados, passagens atmosféricas e partes mais experimentais, o show seguia sempre mudando de direção sem perder a própria identidade. Foi uma apresentação interessante justamente pela proposta diferente e pela forma como a banda construiu toda a experiência ao vivo dentro do festival.

With a very unique approach and moving beyond traditional extreme metal boundaries, Thy Catafalque brought an atmospheric and experimental performance to CDM Metal Fest.
One of the most interesting aspects of the show was the constant movement on stage, with male and female vocalists continuously entering and leaving throughout the performance, creating a very dynamic and unusual live experience.
Blending heavy moments, atmospheric passages and experimental elements, the band delivered a performance filled with identity and originality.

Os Húngaros 🇭🇺 do @thy_catafalque em uma apresentação memorável no dia 02/05/2026 sou suspeito para falar deles, não medi forças para trazer essa banda para o CDM de 2026 e possivelmente para uma futura edição.
We spent the last (very long) weekend in Brazil. We spent 50+ hours travelling, covering about 24600 kilometers, playing a show in São Paulo, and another one in Campo Do Meio in rural Brazil, headlining @cdmmetalfest , all in 5 days.
It was a fantastic experience and we are grateful for the opportunity. We would like to thank everybody involved in this adventure, surely something to remember.

Kiss Tibor Noé "Olvadás" című, nemrég megjelent regényéhez készült egy, a könyvhöz kapcsolódó válogatáslemez, amelyhez engem is felkért Noé egy dal erejéig. Bár nagyon ritkán csinálok ilyet, örömmel vállaltam, mert inspiráló hangulatú, komoly írásról van szó, ráadásul igen kedves pályatársak is részt vettek az album megszületésében.
