‘Thunderowl’. An epic psycho-geographic fiction set in East London in the future, where flash floods and droughts ravage the city in climate breakdown.
Shot on 16mm black and white film. The film is about a girl who, with the company of two outsiders, searches for her lost brother who they believe has been taken by a mythical creature called the Thunderowl. Her aim is to free him from this creature. These unlikely companions embark on a meandering psychedelic journey from industrial wastelands to ethereal clearings and natural forests.
