It's Nia's time to shine this Friday! 🥳
A junior at Holland Hall, Nia is a basketball phenom power forward who knows how to be versatile on and off the court. Not only is she the co-captain of the team, she's also a part of National Charity League and a member of Life Church's service team! Nia is steadfast in her determination to work in sports in some capacity for her career, either as a sports journalist or a sports agent!
She is so thankful for the Fellows program introducing her to some of the best individuals in their respective fields in the sports industry!

This Friday, we celebrate this rising senior at Will Rogers High School! In her free time, Dekayla loves to bake, listen to music and is a member of the Leadership Development program! An academic powerhouse, Dekayla is taking dual enrollment classes at @tulsacc , with plans to attend @uofoklahoma ! She aspires to become a diagnostic medical sonographer, helping her fellow healthcare professionals treat patients!

We are so incredibly excited to congratulate @samiyalelamarie on being accepted to join the @nba HBCU Fellowship program! In June, she will begin working with the @timberwolves and @minnesotalynx Community Engagement department. Samiya will be gaining hands-on experience with these teams as they connect with their communities in Minnesota.

The Fellows program welcomed two strong high school cohorts and a dynamic college cohort this year, and the students all came together for a night of excellence. These students are leaving the program as skilled young professionals, and we can’t wait to see where life takes them 🤝

A junior at Holland Hall, DeNiah is the perfect example of a well-rounded student. On the cheer and track teams. She's also a member of the Spirit club! With dreams of becoming a future Georgia Bulldog, she hopes to continue her education at the University of Georgia!
Her future career path? Becoming a licensed real estate agent and an entrepreneur. Stay tuned - DeNiah just might find you your dream home 👀 🏡

Our Fellows were cool, calm and collected as they presented their research to a panel of judges who provided last minute feedback to push their already great projects to the finish line 🙌
