Out now: ‘Samsara Spirals’ by @throwingsnow & @asa.808 — available on all digital stores & streaming platforms via the TOYS imprint (links in bio) 🌀 with an amazing artwork by @fobitrank “History doesn’t repeat itself, but it often rhymes.” – Mark Twain And lately, those rhymes feel impossible to ignore. The echoes of the past are surfacing again in the present: in the rise of authoritarian power, in the erosion of dignity and solidarity, in the ways fear and division are used to turn people against each other. It’s a momentum that feels constant — fast, disorienting, hard to stand still within. 🌪️ “Samsara Spirals” sits inside that feeling. It moves with the spinning rhythm of the moment — the overload of headlines, the sense of instability, the struggle to stay grounded while everything accelerates. But it also holds space for something else: a breath, a pause, a point of connection. 🪷 Not an escape, but a way through. A reminder that even in cycles that feel endless, there is awareness, and with it, the possibility to resist, to stay present, and to stand in solidarity with those most affected. Because: “compassion is the radicalism of our time. it is truly the most upstream attitude & embodied experience that is essential for the wellbeing of all” — @joanhalifax 🌈 Samsara (Sanskrit: संसार, saṃsāra; Pali: saṃsāra) — the cycle of repetition, of birth, death, suffering and becoming. ☸️ Slide to see where this spiral started 🌀 and find all links in the bio! #newmusic #toysberlin #leftfield #electronica #toys015

Throwing Snow’s latest EP ‘Canines’ is out now! A follow-up to his 2025 Jackals release, Canines journeys through tangled lineages without ever resting on a single reference. UK sounds pulse strongly throughout, but more than just a nod to any specific time or place, it’s ultimately an exploration of the outer frequencies and pressure points in contemporary electronic music. Just as genres like dub, garage, and techno looked outwards to move forwards, Throwing Snow takes this and that from here and there, pulling threads and memories from moments in dance music and weaving them into new shapes. EP focus track ‘Shepherdess’ lays down a pitch-bending floor of hammerdrill bass and lets it run riot through an abandoned building. Throwing Snow traces a crooked line to the core of his musical influences, bending clubworld folklore and half-remembered moments into something firmly in the now, playing loudly through the speakers. Throwing Snow is back on Mesh with another EP of genre mutations out Friday 3rd April. Link in bio 🔗 A follow-up to his 2025 Jackals release, Canines journeys through tangled lineages without ever resting on a single reference. ‘Yous’ takes the Volca Keys for a ride back to a moment of early 2010s fusion in electronic music, somewhere between a South London basement, a Detroit warehouse, and a coffee shop in Amsterdam.
