This guide is for Angelenos who want a city that actually works and understand that voting is how we stop extremists backed by special interests from gaining any more power in our government.
Thrive LA endorses in the June 2 primary because that's where most LA races are decided. To ensure extremists are blocked from the General Election ballot in November, Thrive LA's Primary Election Voter Guide advises strategic, data-driven voting for viable candidates who oppose extreme ideologies backed by special interests.
We weigh three things: where a candidate stands, who's funding the campaign, and whether they have a real path to win. We don't endorse to make a statement. We endorse to change the outcome.
Any race not listed here is one in which we have not issued an endorsement, either because we lack sufficient information on the candidates or because no candidate in the race meets our criteria.

🎙️ Despite more resources than ever before for addressing homelessness, we’re seeing more chronic homelessness than ever before.
👉 In our second episode of Common Sense Citizen, Paul Webster, Executive Director of the LA Alliance for Human Rights, joins us to expose the harsh truth: it’s not a resource problem. Billions have been spent — but without real accountability or smart policies, the crisis has only deepened.
Paul shares insights on how mismanagement, political inaction, and broken systems are fueling the humanitarian disaster on our streets — and why it’s time for civic engagement and political courage to bring real change.
Listen to the full conversation Link in Bio!. Let’s build the city Angelenos deserve — together.

Last night, Thrive LA PAC proudly hosted Councilwoman Traci Park to support her 2026 re-election campaign.
As our first endorsement of the 2026 cycle, Councilwoman Park represents the kind of steady, pragmatic leadership Los Angeles urgently needs. Her work confronting the homelessness crisis, navigating the City’s budget shortfalls, and prioritizing public safety reflects our shared belief that it’s time to get back to the basics of good governance.
We’re grateful to the Thrive members and supporters who joined us for a powerful evening of civic momentum.
