JZS171 1JZGTE service time. We got new front main seal, cam seals, VVTi gear, VVTi solenoid, water pump, timing belt, radiator, radiator hose, and valve cover gaskets to freshen up this low-mileage Crown that @kengushi drives. 33k miles on the ODO but after 25 years, the engine deserves some new seals. At the same time, we installed @serialnine solid subframe bushings, diff bushings, lower control arms, toe control arms, and traction arms. More precise alignment using very pretty green parts! Always my go-to for big body Toyotas. Then swapped out the 3.9 open diff for a GR86 Y59 torsen! Same gearing but with a torsen LSD. This car won’t see much track time but it’s very capable.

Our good friend @dw_derrick brought his beautiful 2JZ powered JZA70 Supra in for maintenance and track prep before hitting up AVS. We were able to get in some laps with him as well as a Three’s Racing train 🚂.

Anyone who says a bone stock FRS doesn’t have enough power for @applevalleyspeedway just needs proper suspension and steering. This car only has coilovers and @kazama_auto steering knuckles. Otherwise, it’s bone stock. I have more fun in this car at AVS than any other car I own because I can do laps after laps without worrying at overheating or tire wear 😂. #ToyotaPartner
Spent the day at @applevalleyspeedway with friends! @bobbylocxd ‘s 2 year hiatus came to an end with a rough start but some solid runs by the end of the day. His 1JZ powered GS300 took a happy beating.
