Very happy to announce the release of a new Three Grebes album, featuring our friend L.C. Bobalova! We were (ARE) all enamored with Leah’s art, and we feel so lucky she trusted us enough to embark on this trip with us.
We recorded this at Reelsounds with Matt Engstrom and Soren Pedersen. If you can find two cooler, nicer dudes in the game, Ike will drink an NA beer out of one of your shoes . They’re just the BEST. Our friend Meat did the amazing album art. We made CDs! Link in bio!
Dotting I’s and crossing T’s: we made a donation to KVCC’s Valley Food Share this morning. Another donation will be coming shortly from @m.a.m.r.c as well. Just amazing if you ask us. Plenty for all, no need to ever go without food.
Our pal Tom Deater captured us in action soundtracking a shibari presentation by our pals @meatbrawl and @steelringmaybe . We were so honored to be jamming with them and hope to do more of that very soon! Together with our pals @nosympatico , @sierramiffed and @victorvague we were able to raise $700 for a food share at KVCC. This is massive, and we’re just so happy to have been involved. Major thanks to @glow__hall for hosting this last night. May all your days be gold, my child.
The excitement in our camp it HIGH, BABY! I’m gonna scream “LET ME SEE YOUR WAR FACE” at Beth and Franki before our set just to ensure we all peak at the right time. Major thanks to Glow Hall for hosting Sierra Miffed, No Sympatico, Victor Vague (HUMAN BLOOD), and our goofy trip. Our friends Meat and Steel will be joining us for a very special shibari performance.
All proceeds (plus some matching donations) will be donated to a local student food share that I think I’m contractually prevented from naming here. But my lord, truly, it’s an absolute good.
We will post receipts after the show so you know we’re on the up and up. We ain’t playing when it comes to food insecurity, something that Americans could solve overnight if we weren’t busy forcing our particularly gross brand of imperialism on foreign countries.

Playing with three acts we respect and love a lot, as well as coordinating our set with our pals Meat and Steel (they’ll be doing some rope knot thing Ike refuses to google). @sierramiffed , Kzoo’s girl-punk wizards, will be joined by @nosympatico , HUMAN BLOOD’s first live show, and our…particular trip. Howdy! We’ve got a flurry of rad things coming up on our end, the first of which is the second (hopefully!) annual BRASSFEST at the Sugarbowl here in Kalamazoo! Stoked to play with @deadpeoplepark , @drinktheirbloodkzoo , @saxsquatch_unit , and @disco_behemoth ! Every band features some sorta brass instrument, and stylistically it’s all OVER the map. Big fan of this tradition.
