Behind the scenes of an incredible week here in Ecuador working on a project we’ve been dreaming up for the past few years 🤍 @threadoflifefilm The world works in magical ways and we’re feeling so grateful we were able to spend this week alongside the women of Flora de Chocó— together with a film crew from LA and Quito— to help bring this story to life. For years, we’ve been collaborating with Flora de Chocó on what message they want to share with the world. This week after many group conversations, interviews and facilitations, we began documenting their process, their art, their daily rhythm— work that is #madefromcabuya, a plant fiber that comes from the penca agave plant 🌿 We’re wrapping up this week feeling thankful for the connections, the trust, and the team who joined us here in Intag. Since our start in 2018, we’ve dreamed of sharing this craft and the people behind it in a way that goes deeper than a product or a post on social media… In a way that matches the rhythm of life here: slow, intentional, rooted. A way to honor the many traditions, the hands and the craft of the beautiful, talented humans we’ve gotten to know living here in Intag, Ecuador.
