Happy Mother’s Day 🌸 Becoming a mom has put me on the hardest, greatest, most spiritual path I’ve ever been on. As a mom to an only child everything feels even more heightened, because I know that there are no do-overs or second chances. I went through years of feeling guilty that I wasn’t “giving” Rio a sibling. I had people tell me that not having another child was selfish on my part. After years of thinking about it (and therapy 😅) I know that it’s better to think of all of the things I can give her, instead of what I can’t. I can give her a mom with better mental health, more time and more energy. I get to be part mom, part playmate and hopefully when she’s older, part friend. She can grow up knowing that everything I do is for her. My special babe, my one and only, my everything 💕
