“And if the righteous are barely saved, what will become of the godless and wicked?” (1 Peter 4:18)
This question is a sober call to reflection and repentance. Salvation is not something to take lightly it came at a great cost. As written in Isaiah 53:6–9, “All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.” Jesus Christ bore our sins, suffered in silence, and gave His life as a sacrifice, though He had done no wrong.
If the righteous are saved through such a costly sacrifice, how much more dangerous is it to reject that gift?
The godless and the wicked stand without covering unless they turn to Christ. But the good news is this: salvation is still open to all. No one is too far gone.
Today is an invitation turn from sin, believe in the finished work of Christ, and receive the life He has already paid for. What He accomplished on the cross is enough, but you must accept it.
Following Jesus is not a casual decision — it is a call to the cross. Jesus Christ said in Gospel of Luke 9:23, “Take up your cross daily and follow Me.” That means there is a price to pay.
Before He was crowned Savior, He carried the cross. The cross is not comfortable. It is sacrifice. It is obedience when it hurts. It is standing for Christ when it costs you something. Discipleship is self-denial, not self-preservation.
We celebrate the blessings of Abraham, but Abraham left everything to obey God (Book of Genesis 12). Blessing followed obedience. Glory followed sacrifice.
You cannot claim the crown and reject the cross. You cannot desire the promise and avoid the process.
whatever you lose for the sake of the gospel will never be wasted. According to Gospel of Mark 10:29–30, God restores in folds and rewards with eternal life.
There is always a cross before the crown.
There is sacrifice before glory.
There is obedience before blessing.
Are you ready not just to sing about the blessing, but to embrace the process that brings it?
If you will follow Him, be ready to pay the price and be ready for the glory that follows.
This year myself and my household shall move according to the instructions of God just as Peter Responded to Jesus in Luke 5vs5 “Master, we worked hard all last night and didn’t catch a thing. But if you say so, we’ll try again.”
Their positive response to the instruction Jesus gave to them opened doors for multiple catch in verse 6
And as we do so we trust the Lord to open doors of prosperity to us this new season and beyond. Amen
Happy New Year 2026🥳🥳

“Have you seen those people polishing their chariots and those others grooming their horses? But we’re making garlands for God our God. Those chariots will rust, those horses pull up lame— and we’ll be on our feet, standing tall.” Psalms 40vs7-8
