It was mid February, 2015. I was driving across Montana to go ride, no real plan. @thoughts.of.james and @koyotegirl texted that they were headed to Seeley Lake MT so Jim could film a segment with this ākidā for Thunderstruck and asked if I wanted to join.
We showed up and the kid was @calebkesterke Iād never heard of him at the time, and he was on a skidoo that was ridden so hard, it was literally held together with sticks. We filmed all day, and when we got back to the truck, instead of joining us for dinner, Caleb filled his sled up and went back to go night ride because he wanted more practice. I was blown away by his dedication and enthusiasm towards the sport. It was a ride Iāll never forget!
Fast forward a decade, and heās one of the most recognizable names in the industry. Still pushing. Iāve been so impressed on what youāre doing on and off the hill. Congrats on your upcoming film release. And keep doing what youāre doing.

It was always a dream of mine to watch the planes flying in to St Barts from the west. I went there a while back to watch but they were landing from the east! Boring (actually still really cool). Got a chance to go back recently and the pilots were landing down the steep hill from the west and it was so dang cool! I took the front seat in the plane so I could watch out the windshield and the video is incredible. Jumped in the rental car and drove to the top of the hill for some fun! Iāve had breakfast at the Musical Legends Park too many times to count. Walked into St Louis Cathedral for quiet time. Sat at Jean LaFitteās, day and night, sipping on amazing pirate drinks. And just walking Bourbon Stā¦.. wouldāve been amazing to be there with 8ā of snow!!! Iām sure youāve all seen the videos and picturesā¦. Iāve been in Baton Rouge during a snow storm. Itās truly awesome to see those massive oak trees covered in snow. But what I wouldāve done to be on I-10 in my truck with no other trafficā¦. Iād probably have some broken bumpers! Donkeys need love too!! Once used to haul salt to passing ships, they were left on the island to grow and multiply after the Industrial Revolution. Now they are just fun to feed and cuddle with!
