Trying to find interesting ways to archive found artifacts, thoughts, memories, so that they’re not crumbled leaves in the pages of a book years from now. I found this in Squamish while walking with my dear friend @brendwasserman .
There’s the main text of a book, and what I consider to be the unofficial subtext — the perspective of the reader, their notes in the margin, their personal resonation and findings.
Found photo of a woman posing with a Joshua Tree. I always wonder how these personal bits of someone’s lives end up in a bin that we casually thumb through in a market. Where she is, who she was, and what she was doing there.
I found this loose paper at the Long Beach Flea in a sea of other loose papers. It subsequently lived in my bathroom, my coffee table, as a coaster on my dining table, and now archived here.
