Komiket Originals Day 2! | Another day another adventure of meeting some folks. I'm so happy to have been part of another Komiket event selling all my usual art and more! There were so many cool moments throughout the day like Axel making a new friend, being able to do another giveaway, and all the cameos from different friend groups. I am forever grateful for feeling so seen and welcomed by this art community and hope to booth again after a quick hiatus to rest and recover
Komiket All-Originals 2026 Day 1 || Kinda forgot to post during the event itself, but I'm posting before Day 2 begins so it counts. But anyways, the event wasn't as packed as usual but that's completely understandable given current events so I'm grateful for everyone who came over. It's been a while since I've boothed at Komiket again so it was refreshing to see my fellow exhibitors' booths and a lot of cool congoers.
Finally upgrading my booth and making a clear pricelist has helped a lot. Although I was initially planning to have a bigger booth due to lack of space, I decided to come up with a more compact setup and it actually turned out a lot better than I expected and taught me the importance of three great words: improvise, adapt, overcome.
Shoutout to my boothmates, @aubsnin and @powerjayron . We should all take a pic together tomorrow (yes, this is my written reminder for us to do that).
"There are no mistakes just happy accidents" as they say. This originally wasn't going to have alternating colours but I messed up the count and ended up making it that way. I actually like it though so I'm definitely making more.
Komiket Makati 2026! | Never been to a con at this specific location before but it was neat. I finally got the planner and I met up with some friends too (as always, I am the budol whisperer). Managed to snag a nice Jinx print from @takopiie too (it's her last con in the Philippines). I of course had to stop by a bunch of other artists booths that I've tagged in my story. I think it's an overall success given that I got a pretty sizeable haul for a pretty small event.
Gunita! || Headed down to the Benilde Art Building for the first time to visit @lichjuno and their booth. The set up is so cute and creative and I absolutely adore the entire catalogue! I also really appreciate the art trade, it was fun working on the peacock bracelet and the surprise facourite colours one too. Hope to see you booth again soon!
Doujin Expo 2026! || It was great dragging another friejd into the art alley scene. I didn't buy all that much during this particular con but it was small and quaint compared to others. It was pretty nice seeing all the comics though even though the ones I wanted were instantly sold out... But regardless, the event was neat and my haul is pretty nice as well.
Finally tried out a new design again and I love the braid effect of it. I can't wait to make more of these and possibly sell them at future art alleys!
There are days where I make so much more stuff than usual and one of those days was last night and this morning. Now I kinda wish I got into this flow state before Komiket but at least I'm ready for the next con
Floral Friends Stamp Rally || Huge thanks to @hme_pnk for organising this spring-themed stamp rally! It was the very first I've ever participated in and I am so glad that we got to give away all 10 prizes to some fantastic congoers! It was so much fun collaborating with @htvmerch , @moebeansu , and @wondersofrei as well. Y'all make such amazing art and it was an honour to have worked on this with all of you!
