‘Sal’ Albariño comes from Val do Salnés in Rías Baixas, where granite and xabre soils meet Atlantic air and maritime fog. A short period on fine lees brings texture without losing precision.

In Les Riceys, the Champagne Gallimard family have worked the same slopes in the southern Aube for generations, with Didier now joined by his son Arnaud.
Their vineyards sit on steep chalk and Kimmeridgian limestone soils, planted predominantly to Pinot Noir, the defining grape of this part of Champagne. Vines average over 30 years, rooted deep into a terroir that shapes both structure and expression.
In the cellar, the approach is low intervention, balancing the character of the site with the hand of the grower. Single varietals, single vintages, careful dosage, and a mix of élevage from oak to amphora and perpetual reserve wines all form part of the domaine’s philosophy.

Thomas Rivers Brown is one of California’s most sought after winemakers. After beginning his journey at Turley Wine Cellars in 1997, he has gone on to consult for a number of leading Napa estates, while building his own highly regarded project, Rivers-Marie, alongside his business partner Genevieve Marie.
Rivers-Marie focuses on cool climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the far western reaches of the Sonoma Coast, crafting site driven wines inspired by a love of Burgundy. Vineyards are farmed with organic practices and winemaking is thoughtful and restrained, allowing purity of fruit and natural balance to shine.
Minimal intervention, native fermentations and careful oak integration result in wines of precision, freshness and clarity that beautifully express their coastal origins.

Wayfarer Vineyard, Fort Ross-Seaview, Sonoma Coast
Wayfarer Vineyard is an extraordinary site on the north western reach of the Sonoma Coast, set among winding mountain roads and redwoods, just four miles from the Pacific Ocean. Planted on deep Goldridge soil at around 1,100 feet, the vineyard was designed by renowned developer David Abreu as 30 individual one-acre blocks, each dedicated to a specific clone.
Ten years after planting, the first Wayfarer Vineyard wines were introduced in 2012 by Cleo Pahlmeyer, daughter of founder Jayson Pahlmeyer, with Todd Kohn as winemaker. The result is a range of expressive small lot Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that reflect the dramatic landscape and cool maritime influence of this unique site.
