Hopefully everyone is staying safe during this Snowmageddon! I think it’s safe to say everyone is looking forward to the end of the week when the sky and (hopefully) roads are looking clear again. 3 Bees Interrogate Bolted Broccoli.
I took this picture to think about the concept of failure. I "failed" to grow a crop of broccoli (as if I can control all the parameters that go into it; see: historic rainfall, heat waves, etc), yet Nature can reap the benefits of this "failed" crop. It's this reflection that allows me to separate myself from "failure," for I have actually succeeded at nurturing life and contributing effort and resources to the benefit of other beings (and, indirectly, myself, I might add).
We should all be careful in our self-judgement of success and failure. We should be careful not to take ownership over things we cannot control. As you can see, it's not black and white. (In this case it's actually yellow and black. 😅)
