Always love a moment when Toronto & Montreal get along 🤝Toronto-based collaborators @thomashernan_ & @locotek debut on SLAPPED with “Lucy”, a genre bending, introspective track that brings a deep analog feel to the VA. Building off of Locotek’s own voice, “pitched down and processed to taste”, Lucy has that touch of hypnotism that keeps us coming back for more & more.
The studio symbiosis of these two Canadian frontiermen delivered a track that has melodic intrigue, top-tier sound design, and a journey that deepens with every listen.
A true gem of a collaboration. As Locotek shares: “When working with other producers or musicians, if everyone in the room has the freedom to relax and just lean into the abilities they love utilizing most, that’s where the magic happens.”
