When I was invited to show during VFW, I took some time to think about it before seizing the opportunity to travel, and to create a resort, cruise, whatever new collection. But with only a little over two months to make everything happen, while also working part-time at a large Manor store whose name shall remain unspoken, it may have been one of the most intense projects I’ve worked on to this day. Fortunately, I was surrounded by the very best people, whom I would like to thank now,

@ya.hillt , the master who hand-cut all the zippers into feathers and threaded most of them through the brass beads embroidered by Heidi and Odile onto the bird pieces

@carola_design_ , who helped design and develop the many different stitches and created the grid for the seamless Chanel-like knitted suits produced by Gayanga and his team.

@artelie_couture , the very best seamstresses in Geneva, who were able to sew the incredibly light mud-dyed silk together with linen jersey and transform it into summer shearling pieces.

@francescomoggi , who helped with the production in Italy, and to Alina and her team as well, for being able to handle all the crazy curves since the Breastpak.

@jordanmartinezquintana , who helped sew some of the toiles, turned pictures of a parrot and a chicken into a print, and made my buttons inspired by Vernier manhole covers.

@koklikophel , who did a lot of hand-stitching, especially on the almost 100-year-old blankets transformed into NBA jerseys.

@suzkens , who was able to proxy the best fabrics from Japan for me.
