Florida Man!!!!
After what seems like forever, I finally got the new pavement pounding, sweet skidding, commuter scooter finished. This thing is such a dreamboat.
On my USA BMX adventure last year I was fortunate enough to spend some time with @garrettage & @latane_coghill at the killer @crustbikes headquarters. 2 of the nicest folks ever! They were more than happy to have a few nerdy bike conversations while I loitered around their workplace. I got to borrow Garrett’s killer Wombat for a day of bike tourism around Richmond with @crandallfbm (thanks Steve- it was a super sweet day!)
Riding that bike & seeing just how nice the Crust products are in the flesh definitely got me stoked to get myself on one of them. The Florida Man was the perfect choice for a new lightweight yet strong & burly single speed city smasher. My rides to & from work & beyond have been so fun lately. The stoke is high!
Ever since Crust Bikes inception I have been a huge fan & forever impressed with everything they do. What Matt & the crew have created is so rad.
Back when I had my shop I tried my best to support the rider owned companies first and foremost & I think that attitude is shared by a huge chunk of the BMX community (which rules) but in the greater bicycle industry it seems a much rarer attitude. Supporting rider owned companies & shops matters!

Totally forgot about these late summer GoPro clips! It’s been really awesome getting to spend lots of time at the trails so far this year with @tim_dack & @shanebiffin . Thanks for letting me be a part of the crew/ spot. Fun days on the shovel recently.

Another year & another amazing weekend down in Young. I can’t thank @willburkerrky & @sewlatea enough for their hospitality & stoke. This years June Jam crew was definitely a good one. It’s already been a week and I’m still smiling from the good times!
This doesn’t seem real that I am typing this. Rest in peace my friend. The Australian BMX community loved you dearly. Softly spoken with a beautiful calm energy, spending time with you was always a delight. Then there was your bike riding, exciting, high speed and handled with precision, poise & confidence.
