We providentially purchased this masterwork from the amazing Hackett~Mills Gallery , San Francisco , a top tier ‘must know ‘ source for the best of the best.

Joan Mitchell the greatest artist of the late 20th created this pastel of her environs at Vetheuil , France most likely from her bed placed by the studio windows. She was dying from cancer yet physically determined to capture every last moment of life , here’s to all who fall under her spell. Purchased for this client at first glancing sight by Beeton Fine Art Services from my great mentor Hollis Taggart , New York.
