Transylvania completely caught me off guard.
I honestly didn’t expect to come back with a set like this. Between places like Sibiu, Sighișoara, Brașov, Biertan and Viscri, it felt less like chasing specific spots and more like constantly stopping because something unexpected kept showing up. Strange light, empty streets, rain at the right time, villages that felt untouched.
Still one of those trips I keep thinking about.

A day full of exchange, experimenting and a lot of creative energy. What stayed with me most was how engaged everyone was and how differently people approached the task. Wrocław always feels a bit closer than other cities.
Probably because of my Polish roots, probably because I’ve been here before, but this time I noticed it more. Less like visiting, more like moving through something familiar without really thinking about it.
I didn’t overplan anything. Just walked, reacted and let the city do its thing. Ended up with a set that feels more honest than expected.

Milan is best before it wakes up.
Went out early before the city filled up and found exactly the kind of quiet I was hoping for. A few frames from a morning walk before the day around Milan Design Week properly began.
I should have switched to a NAS way earlier.
For a long time my workflow was spread across drives, folders and different systems. It worked, but it was messy and slowed everything down. Since moving everything to a @synology.de NAS, things are finally structured. All files in one place, fast access, easy backup and way less friction in daily work.
Being able to access my entire library from anywhere has been a game changer, especially when I’m traveling.

Last week’s fog post brought a lot of questions about how I approach shooting in these conditions, which got me thinking it might be worth turning some of that into a post.

Fog turned Berlin into something else this morning.
April does this sometimes. One day it feels like spring, the next the city disappears. No clean frames, no clear subjects. Just fragments, people appearing and disappearing, moments that didn’t really wait to be photographed. I missed more than I got, but the few that worked felt different.
