The Holy cross of Aparan is made of 1,700 pipe-like shaped crosses. It was designed that way to perform like a church pipe organ so the winds could play sacred music. The number of pipes corresponds to each year Armenia has adopted Christianity and each year a new pipe cross is added in October.

Somewhere in Armenia. This textile factory, opened in 1976, was used to produce children’s clothing and possibly nuclear protective equipment in case of war. In 1991, the symbolic year of the fall of the Soviet Union, the factory closed its doors and time stood still forever.

Early morning exploration at the ROT54 radio optical telescope built between 1981 and 1985, imagined by the physicist and engineer Paris Herouni. The telescope, emitting an ultra-low level of sound, was particularly sensitive to cosmic signals, intended to capture signs of extraterrestrial civilisations. We owe it the capture of an explosion of the red giant (the twin star of the constellation Gemini) and many more.
