@arca.tierra gave me a farm to table easter sunday brunch and it was a longtime dream of mine to visit one of the 2% of chinampas today that are used for native agriculture. every decision to support local and eat seasonally protects this paradise we call home 🌁❤️🔥🌎🏞️🍃

in 2025 i reached one decade- 10 years of being a student of photography and astrology - cultivating skills in memory, pattern recognition, and intuition.
this exhibit is by patrick martinez at the Hammer’s MADE IN LA 2025 exhibit. imagery borrowed from Maya murals peek out from commercial signage and peeling layers of paint. unfolding slowly, with visual complexity these works argue that the past belongs to the present.
