Sen. Jack Reed, the ranking Democrat on the Senate Armed Services Committee, said Sunday he believes the U.S. is in a "much worse position" with Iran since the war started, and that he doesn't believe President Trump has a plan to achieve his stated objectives.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said Sunday that achieving U.S. objectives of preventing a nuclear-armed Iran and reopening the Strait of Hormuz is "taking a little bit longer and that's going to play out over the next several weeks," but projected gas prices would come down as soon as the strait opens.
