Even as her mom, can’t say I was expecting…that 😂😆 this girl never fails to impress me haha. Posted this as a story and based on the reactions it got, figured it needed a permanent spot on the grid 🛹🤸🏼♀️🤭

October 2024 was full of so much joy 🪩 celebrated my 32nd chapter, added a member to our family, and savored moments soaked in laughter, gratitude and manifestations of years past. This year feels like it’s the culmination of years of hard work—I can’t wait to see what magic it continues to bring 🫶🏽 if you’re present in my life today, even if it’s just through this screen, know I genuinely appreciate you and your role in my life. Xo
Somewhere along the way, my daughter fell into the trap of negative thought patterns. When something bad happened, it would spiral her whole day on a negative trajectory, if we caught 2 lizards outside, she felt disappointed it wasn’t 3, etc. After school most days, she was grumpy, irritable, and prone to meltdowns. Sound familiar?
My background is in childhood education, mindfulness, emotional freedom technique (EFT) and now family therapy. It dawned on me to create a fun way for my daughter to use EFT combining all of my knowledge and this—was born. I framed it to her like a fun new tradition we get to do together and within days, everything shifted. Every morning after breakfast, we take one minute together to tap through the points as she repeats after me. Her emotional regulation, perspective, attitude, behaviors all became NOTICABLY better. I was blown away to put it lightly.
EFT is a total game-changer when it comes to transforming thought patterns! By tapping on those powerful meridian points, you’re literally rewiring your brain and releasing built-up stress and negativity. It was originally created to help veterns overcome their PTSD. It is highly researched and effective and is the foundation of my method, I just made it kid-friendly.
There are so many great resources for adults learning EFT, but nothing engaging for kids. I hope to be able to be a resource and continue creating things that help our kids grow up in an empowered and autonomous way. I have so much more of this to share, so please, share this with someone you think it could help and let me know if you try it and how it goes for you!
Every moment like this is a lesson in love—teaching her what she should always expect, and what she should never accept. Watching her smile up at him, I see the future she’ll believe in. Here’s to the moments that teach our daughters their worth, one daddy-daughter date at a time ✨🌻 @onevibe

Fam cam roll lately ✨📸
Emi starts kindergarten in two weeks (and has lost two teeth this week) so we’ve been face to face with how quickly she’s growing up. It’s so bittersweet, but we’re focusing on the good and trying to soak up all the family time we can before we have to send her out into the world of big kid school 🥲
I’ve wanted to be a mom for as far back as I can remember and the fact the these are really my kids and this is where I get to teach them how to be humans will never not be surreal 🤍 and to keep it real and not just a highlight reel— it’s really hard doing this without any family near by, we’re still learning to work though big emotions calmly and with communication (parents too!) and I’m feeling super burnt out on my Master’s degree lately, but still showing up every day. Hope you’re doing things that fill your cup, stretch you out of your comfort zone, and getting out in nature as much as possible too 🫶🏽
