I've thoroughly enjoyed experimenting with new compositions and mediums. It's my first time using oil paints, which I've loved! A long way to go, but we move!
Belstaff - Made in Longton, Stoke-on-Trent.
Our First 100 Years
It's an honour as locals to have been commissioned to create such a landmark mural up the road from where the iconic Belstaff brand was born 100 years prior.
As we both love our local history and all things Stoke, we were delighted to be asked to create such a meaningful piece that perfectly aligned with our styles. Ethan on portraiture and Rob on type duties.
We are super proud to have collaborated with the amazing creative team on this project. Big thanks to @alexsandvoss and @jacksonfrederick
& @mode_uk for making this happen!
Took some time out recently to enjoy @yspsculpture with the family.
If you get a chance, be sure to check out the incredible body of work by @williamkentridgestudio

Always appreciate time spent outdoors at one of my favourite UK spots.
Work is now underway to protect Longton’s iconic “Gone to War” mural.
Local artist Rob Fenton is restoring the artwork he created in 2022. It’s become a well-known landmark honouring the stories of local men and women who served in the First World War.
After several years exposed to the elements, essential conservation work is now needed to preserve it for the future. This includes careful cleaning, protective coatings and restorative painting.
You can still view the mural and watch Rob at work. Please take care around the site and respect the conservation taking place.
The project is being supported through the Design Out Crime scheme, funded as part of the Home Office’s Levelling Up funding, helping safeguard public art and community spaces.

Looking back at two years to the day, today since @ethan_lemon_art , Buzz Murals and I, attended the VIP launch and opening of #NemesisReborn @altontowers – unveiling the one mile of track artwork we completed! 🎢
🫶 A new mural dedicated to men’s mental health has been unveiled at University of Staffordshire.
Created by local artist Rob Fenton – co artist of the 100 Years 100 Faces Centenary mural – the piece will be at the university’s new Student Village, which is due to open this summer.
Men’s mental health still carries a stigma and if you need support, you are not alone ❤

I'm beyond excited to be able to get back into screen printing this year, having invested in my very own @hgkippaxandsons print bed 🎨🍾
After a crazy few years, she's a welcome addition to the studio, and something I've already been able to customise to make my own 🟢
Keep eyes for future print releases! 👀🔥
[Wall of legends is coming on a treat too! Couldn't love the studio space more rn!]
One of the city’s Centenary projects has been recognised on the national stage.
@stokeontrentbid has won Gold in the People Engagement Scheme category at the National BID Awards for the 100 Years, 100 Faces mural.
The mural on Marsh Street, Hanley celebrates 100 people who have shaped our city over the last century.
Commissioned and funded by the BID - and brought to life by artists Rob Fenton and Alastair Barnett - the project celebrated the pride, creativity and community spirit of Stoke-on-Trent
Congratulations to everyone involved on this well-deserved national recognition.
Have you identified all 100 faces yet?
Graphic Design alumni Rob Fenton returned to University of Staffordshire this week for a men’s mental health initiative with our Student Village partners @WillmottDixon .
After a powerful talk from @wearelighthousecharity , Rob unveiled a new mural on the Student Village sample room. It’s a quiet reminder that support doesn’t always look dramatic. Sometimes it’s human, shared and built on connection.
“The mural focuses on connection rather than crisis,” says Rob.
For Rob, this wasn’t just about showcasing his work. It was about giving back to the community that helped shape him. A full-circle moment and a powerful example of how creative practice can challenge norms and start conversations that matter.

Back to a very snowy studio for the start of what promises to be a year of continued creativity, and I can't wait!
There are a few changes and shifts in the way this year will see me work, more about that sometime soon though.
Let's get it!
