This is the poem that started it all. Long before I was professionally preparing food, this poem grabbed me and taught me how vital what happens around the table is.
This poem is also how @annawatsoncarl and I bonded and began our incredible friendship and journey together.
I usually have my incredible pastry chef @kellielutito make all my breads and desserts but recently I have been making a lot of olive oil cakes. They fall more in line with the pure flavors I love. I don’t like how precise baking is, I like to feel my way through recipes and dishes. Cooking is much more instinctual for me. I Love Tasting and adjusting as I go. But I do love a good piece of leftover olive oil cake for breakfast :)

I am finally posting this incredible video that @zacharygray made from the dinner series I did last month with @wileycanningcompany and @_tianagidley These two events sold out in less than 24 hours and were a highlight of the year. More photos to come but it was a complete dream collaborating with these two ladies. Thank you to my dear friend @elise_joseph for bringing me into the fold. It was such a fun adventure including an element from the Wiley cookbook in each of my dishes. We had the most gorgeous seasonal produce by @bloomsburyfarm and then adding in vibrant pickled vegetables and preserves was such a joy. I am fully addicted to using @wileycanningcompany elements now in my meals. Even more than that, these two vibrant women share my love of bringing meaning to the table. Tiana's reflection journals and conversation prompts were part of what made these evenings so special. Nourishment of body and soul. Thats my favorite. I'm sure there will be more nights like this to come.

This Is My Kitchen partnered with @mastercard to deliver a truly priceless culinary experience for “The Great Divide: An Intimate Listening Session with Noah Kahan” at Gold Pacific Studios in Nashville on Friday, March 20. Bringing the event theme to life, they reimagined the classic “convenience store” concept into an elevated, immersive offering featuring a creatively curated grazing board, a passed dessert menu, and a selection of co-branded snacks that delighted guests and added a playful, memorable twist to the evening. a warmly lit dining table makes the best setting for our poetry dinners! I love exchanging stories, engaging in discussion, and exploring art and meaning over a spread of family-style options. If you’re interested in booking a poetry dinner or dinner party experience, DM for more info.
A gorgeous spring grazing spread last week. I loved collaborating with @tablethroughtown as my sous chef on this event. She brought her beet pesto grain salad that was amazing!! Gluten free here with toasted brown rice, but most often made with farro, pistachios, and shaved pecorino. Y’all this is so good and so gorgeous. You’ll see more of it on menus this spring. @carliefoust was helped style this grazing table and taking 📸
