Royalton Chic Punta Cana – Our Honest Take Planned this trip as a surprise for Ra because she’s been grinding nonstop, and after Nashville I wanted to take her out of the country. First pick was Royalton Chic Cancun, but it looked a little too “Florida-adjacent,” so we switched to Punta Cana for that real tropical vibe. We booked the Diamond Club for the extras, private beach, exclusive bars, and a “butler” (more like a concierge tbh). Service was solid, but the resort itself wasn’t quite the party-luxury mix the ads promised. The property’s smaller than it looks online, the food was hit-or-miss (BUT Tandoori, the Indian spot absolute fire 🔥), and room service didn’t really deliver. Still, we made the trip unforgettable, good drinks, good buffets, better people. Met some amazing folks who turned regular days into moments we’ll talk about forever. So yeah, it wasn’t about the resort this time. It was about us laughing, vibing, and making memories with strangers who became friends.
