On this very day last year we were recording Play Hats @glowormrecording . And over 3 years ago @donald_macdonald_music_ and I met to start working on some ideas (see pic 2). It feels surreal that the album is finally here but I’m an absolutely delighted for you to hear it. If you like it, I would massively appreciate if you could share it 🙏

Good fun to record this video and sound live together last week as we began preparations for @skyelivefest . We’ll be performing it there for the first time.
With quite a few new faces around here we thought we’d re-introduce ourselves. We’re LUSA and we make Scottish electronica.
LUSA was founded by myself, Innes Strachan, alongside close friends Donald Macdonald, Ruairidh Graham and Beth Malcolm. Ruairidh and I were both members of @niteworksband , where we first collaborated with Donald and Beth.
Our debut album, titled ‘The Colour of Space’, was released in September 2024. Since then, we’ve released a couple of singles in our ‘versions’ series - where we put our own spin on songs that we love. The final track from this series is coming out very soon!
We’ve all been surrounded by music from an early age which has moulded who we are. Through childhood, teenage years and into adulthood it’s always been about the music. And it still is.
The set for @skyelivefest is coming together, with a few surprises 👀. Let us know what track you’re most looking forward to ⬇️
