Man, Whistler… pictures hardly do this place justice. It brought a lot of firsts for us with it. Most importantly, the first of us Lumovic brothers to tie the knot. Grateful to have had the chance to shoot my brother’s proposal to his fiancé Gill. Other frames from the trip aside, still over the moon for you two, and can’t wait for all that this humble little life’s journey brings your way.
A Short Love Letter to Austin —
Been growing a bit of a soft spot for this town lately. The faces — new & old — adventures, experiences, food, cycling, and weather (yeah I know y’all are in the good part right now) continue to deliver, and excite, every time I visit.
My first @breakfastclubatx in the books, and can’t help reflect while on my flight back to Chi right now how special of an event, and even more so, the humans that make it up, are. The hype for this thing being a global destination is definitely real & well deserved, to say the least. I came down for the last one of the season, and it ended up offering one hell of a time, not only in the ride itself, but in so many ways beyond — not an easy thing to pull off, and it’s really all due to the one of a kind humans that the crew is made of. Iykyk. You just have to experience it.
Call me a sap, but I’m just feeling a bit fuzzy inside after a hell of a week down here. Grateful for all the generosity, hospitality, and friendliness all around.
Till next time, ATX.
This is your sign to grab your buddy, (and their fat tire bike) & take the scenic route —

My my — Texas, you did not disappoint.
New friends, some familiar faces, 6am impromptu climbing camps, trackside hangs, some of the best BBQ in the world, and one hell of a set of adventures later — I’m touching back down in Chicago with a warm heart, a refreshed spirit, and some slightly sore legs.
Much love and gratitude to all of y’all who made it special — let’s definitely do it again soon.
