The Society of Toxicology (SOT) Annual Meeting and ToxExpo in San Diego brought together an incredible community focused on advancing the science of toxicology.
It was a great opportunity for the ICF team to connect with peers across industry, government, and academia—sharing perspectives on how we evaluate risks to human health and use evidence and data to support clear, well-informed decisions. We were also proud to contribute to the program through poster presentations from our team.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth to exchange ideas, ask thoughtful questions, and discuss the challenges shaping the field. We were equally inspired by the creative origami designs our visitors brought to life at the booth.
As we gear up for Bike to Work Week and Bike to Work Day, it’s the perfect time to spotlight a journey that goes far beyond a daily commute.
When Paris-based Thomas had the opportunity to join ICF in Madrid as a senior aviation consultant, he set himself a challenge most of us wouldn’t dream of: he decided to make the 1,500km (932mi) journey by bicycle.
Thomas completed the trip in 14 stages over two weeks in April, on a second-hand bicycle with seven gears, having never ridden more than 70km (43mi) at a time before.
But it wasn’t just about endurance—Thomas rode to support cancer research through Institut Curie. Every climb, every headwind, and every kilometre helped raise awareness and funding for a cause that matters.
Congratulations on your achievement, Thomas! We hope he inspires others to make their ride count this May, whether it’s a quick journey to the office or hundreds of miles across a border.
This May, ICF’s cycling community is gearing up for Bike to Work Week and encouraging colleagues to get pedaling. Teams are organizing group rides, bike safety workshops, virtual events, and more. To support those efforts, ICF is donating funds to nonprofits chosen by our cycling enthusiasts.
We’re also helping to make commuting options like cycling part of everyday life—through flexible remote and hybrid work options, and location-specific initiatives like bike subsidies, fitness centers, and bike storage. In recognition of these efforts, we’ve been named as a Best Workplace for Commuters.

The ServiceNow Government Forum in National Harbor, MD focused on how agencies are advancing data readiness to support AI-driven transformation across mission-critical operations.
As a Platinum Sponsor, ICF was proud to be part of the conversation shaping what’s next for AI in government.
A team of ICF colleagues—including Bhairavi and Mursal (pictured)—were on the ground, alongside Michelle and Stephen who participated in a session on achieving data readiness for AI in government.
Together, they’re supporting digital modernization across federal agencies—helping put AI to work through secure, scalable solutions that turn data into action and accelerate mission outcomes.
We’re proud to be among the first federal technology contractors to earn four ServiceNow Validated Practice Awards—recognition that reflects this work in action.
