The Cazenovia Lavender Festival at @farmstead1868 is coming up and the schedule is filling up fast! 🌸 July 11th and 12th from 10 am to 4 pm Farmstead 1868 4690 Shephards Rd. Cazenovia, NY Enjoy an experiential day on the farm, in the breathtaking lavender season, which will include lots of lavender, classes, samples, demonstrations, and our first-ever artisan vendor market. Look for 20+ inspired local artisans who will showcase their one-of-a-kind handmade creations, plus demonstrations and experiences from local farmers, artists, and experts. This year there will be more classes, more music, more activities and more demonstrations than ever before, with more to come! The @commonthreadfarm Open House and Plant Sale is underway! Stop by Friday, May 15th from 3 to 7 pm and Saturday, May 16th from 9 am to noon, rain or shine! All are welcome. Take a tour of the farm, visit with the farmers, learn more about CSA and sustainable vegetable production, and take home some plants! Storage crops are for sale as well. The folks from @ny_mushroom_company will be at the farm on Friday selling mushrooms, and sharing about their products. Don't forget - you can sign up for a CSA share as well! Common Thread grows a wide variety of vegetables, flowers, and herbs using sustainable methods. Their customized CSA allows you to choose the vegetables you prefer from 15-30 options each week. Your share also includes access to pick-your-own crops such as beans, peas, flowers, and herbs. This gives you a chance to get into the fields and bring home additional items. Live music on the Village Green goes back - WAY back. 🎶 Since 1902, summer concerts have been one of @thisishamiltonny ’s most beloved annual activities. A passionate volunteer committee spearheaded by Roger Bauman revived the current series in 2018, and it was brought under the @artsatthepalace umbrella in 2024. Our 2026 season kicks off on Thursday, July 2nd with a performance by @blaineholcomb and @cassidylynnmusic . The series will continue every Thursday evening through August 6th, including @thesyracuseorchestra ’s annual Hamilton performance, taking place this year on July 9th. In addition to terrific musical performances, each night includes family-friendly events. Folks are encouraged to picnic on the Village Green with food from one of the many food trucks in attendance. The evening’s concert and activities are free for all to enjoy. Blankets, chairs and dancing are encouraged! The Village Art Walk, hosted by the Partnership for Community Development and @artsatthepalace , is back in 2026 with four wonderful evenings centered around art, craftsmanship, music, food, drinks, family, and friends. Once a month we’ll fill the Village of Hamilton with music, art, fun, and tasty treats! Enjoy live music, local art, and community connection at this free event, open to all. Take a stroll and view pop-up galleries, artist booths, and storefront displays. Bid on our silent auction. Take part in a family activity or craft. Mark your calendars for June 12th, July 24th, August 28th and September 18th starting at 5:30 pm each night. Whether you’ll be participating as a stop on the walk, attending as a guest, or helping us out as a volunteer, get all the details you need below! At a recent Hamilton Rotary Club event, Rotarian Jason Moshier, Manager of The Kendrick, gave the group a great tour of Utica Street's new Kendrick building! The Kendrick is a wonderful addition to downtown Hamilton, offering apartments, office space @colgateuniversity , the @pcdhamiltonny , and @thehubhamiltonny , and retail/restaurant space with two amazing spots opening soon: @clioatthekendrick , from the owners of @nolasinclinton and @no.ones.rival in Clinton, and L&M's - LaGreca's Meat Market, a new venture from the @raybrothersrbq family. From Hamilton Rotary: "The common areas are really well designed - there’s a spacious lounge on the first floor where we enjoyed pizza for lunch before the tour. We toured a two-bedroom apartment on the second floor before taking the elevator to the fourth floor, where we found another lounge with a kitchenette and outdoor patio looking out over Utica St and the Palace Theater.
