GUT FEELING (track 1 of 17) is my brave little baby. She's the musical version of 13 year old me who had the audacity to believe she could be a pop star. She's the 18 year old version of me who broke her own heart to see who she was on her own. I have no idea what I'm doing....but I'm grateful to be doing it now. This song and video would not have been possible without my literal best friends @brittanydrays (who shot the video) and @xx_elegy_xx (who poured through every stem and mixed/mastered this song). 9 days ago I started documenting the process of finishing my album w/ my ‘artist log’ (a lab notebook I bought to make the process feel super official) 🤍. I have the 17 puzzle pieces…but I need to package them in a way I can live with you know…forever!! Lyrics need a final pass, fake instruments need to be doubled with the real thing (cuz why not??), videos need to edited…and re-edited. And ultimately, there’s a version of myself I’m still trying to meet through this project. anyways!! This is just thebeginning. TRACK 1 aka GUT FEELING drops in 6 days. Somewhere in the chaos, I wrote my debut album: Conversations We Were Supposed to Have. I blasted my demos in my mom’s car on the way to CVS. I scanned my diary pages into PDFs to remember what I tried to forget. I took my worst fear and turned it into a music video that everyone will see. I sing my receipts and signed them all with dates, times and locations.
The truth is, I don’t have anything totally planned except for a song I’m giving you in 16 days. The rest? I’m gonna figure out in front of you.
Inspired by “internet diary” days, this is me starting “artist log” - her cool cousin. Entry 001 is first telling you that I made an album. Second, is telling you TRACK 1 will be yours on July 30th.

I went to my grandma’s 90th birthday in orange county (the motherland), bought a chess set, ate a giant cookie, two of my favorite people got married, the queens-bound trains stopped working so I ended up at the ice rink, watched two tutorials on gain staging (hated both), stopped studying to watch the library flash mob.
