✨ Story Time ✨ (I’ve had to compress this as what I originally wrote was too many words 😴)
As an independent artist (with no budget) 🤣, I was determined to make this video happen! I sent my friend @alwaysmargi the track, and within hours, she introduced me to the incredible director @charlotte__thirlwall , who captured the song’s emotion perfectly. She also connected me with @indecent__ , the most amazing, sustainable stylist who brought my vision to life!
Before I knew it, the chat grew to 20+! From @gaelhoudinbrenac (Exec producer) to @em.christopherrr (producer), @hugoial (DOP), @felicity_chadwick (choreography), and the beautiful dancers @sboisliveau , @nadinemuncey , @alwaysmargi , and @felicity_chadwick . Huge thanks to @carefree_chick for editing, @lanajenkinss for glamming me up, @tpf.faces & @demimakeup_ for HMU, @morgan.quashie (focus puller), @scotthighmoor (gaffer), @ciaran_tunmer (steadicam), @noahatkinson_ for social content, @simongrassi for color grading, and @bartholomew_mason for capturing the day so beautifully 📸.
When scouting for locations, I found a stunning church in Peckham but could only afford it for 6 hours of filming:( (Original plan was a whole weekend shooting) but the incredible @charlotte__thirlwall assured me we could do it, and with her talent I had complete faith. Then the day came….We all met for the first time on set and started filming right away! (In 6 hours ‼️‼️)
To everyone who believed in me—thank you will never be enough. I’ll never forget this experience. I love you all 💛
