Moose Hide Campaign Day is an important moment to reflect on our shared responsibility to end gender-based violence and foster respect and safety in our workplaces and communities.
The campaign itself began in BC as an Indigenous-led grassroots movement along the Highway of Tears and is connected to ongoing healing from the harms of residential schools. Recognizing these roots is an important part of the day.
The construction industry has a role to play in creating environments where everyone feels safe and supported, on and off the job site. Through initiatives like Builders Code, we’re committed to turning awareness into action and helping build a culture where respect is foundational.
Proud to stand with the Moose Hide Campaign in advancing this important work.

National Skilled Trades Day is an amazing opportunity to celebrate the skilled trades professionals who build communities across British Columbia. From infrastructure and housing to innovation and economic growth, the trades are the foundation of a strong, resilient province.
These important projects only move forward because of the people behind the work—those who champion safe job sites, support strong training and apprenticeship pathways, and help build a strong construction industry.
Thank you to the tradespeople who show up every day to shape our built environment and our future.
