LIVE NOW badabada 19-20h
badabada is a duo formed by Emad Lulu, an oud player from Gaza, Palestine and Milena Minta, a pianist from County Wexford, Ireland.
badabada is the harmony that exists between Ireland and Palestine due to our shared struggle against colonial occupation and oppression.
badabada is also the dissonance that exists between us due to the polarity that has been created between the modern ‘West’ and the modern ‘Middle East’.
badabada uses electronic music to infuse Maqamat, Irish traditional melodies and singing, Palestinian chants, and sound design, grounded in carefully selected samples that speak our subject matter: liberation

With @emadlulu from the valiant Palestine on oud and @milena.minta from the Emerald Island on keyboard, joined on one track by @amine_kaabi_1 on tenor sax.
Badabada is a suave rallying cry, a sweet hymn to the uprising against the war crimes, genocide, mass murder, the absurdity and savagery of the supposedly civilized world in Palestine.
