A few years back on Pheonix Rise. Hindsight was always my best perspective on memories. So sometimes digging up the past is good thing.
So very blessed to have been given the opportunity to play my piece on this. From solo traveling to throwing my hat into the ring to see what UK gripping was about. As an Aussie bloke from the otherside of the world, I wasn't expecting to be given the chance but alas I found myself in Coventry; what is described as the stabbing capital of the UK/Europe (I never got stabbed so they might be a little inflated).
From learning a whole bunch on different names for gear and using a wider selection of different gear. This was an experience that I will look fondly on.
Thank you to the friendly crew allowing an Aussie to play ball with inviting arms and thank you @sam_kirby_grip for taking a chance on this weird little Aussie boy; you definitely helped me sharpened my skill set..... Oh I still have that Coventry Blues jersey and repping it with pride!!!!
