Part 3/3 😘 Anyway, as I said, it’s hardly a hot take (bubbling over with love tends to be my default state), but I just want to get it in writing and out into the ether just how much I love and appreciate all those in my life, both in and out of these photos. Loves ya all, bye! ✌🏻
Part 2/3 😚 This has been a complex year for me, there’s no other word for it. I’ve always been independent; I’ve never been afraid of being alone, I love my own company, and past relationships have taught me that co-dependency can never lead to a happy ending. But while I’m proud of the work I’ve put in over the years to live independently and learn to love myself, I didn’t really notice that I’d also been isolating myself and developing unhealthy habits in the process. This year, I’ve been learning to make the effort to let more people in, to listen, and to remind myself of how much the people closest to me mean to me, and learning so much about myself in the process.
Part 1/3 😌 I don’t like celebrating New Year, or making resolutions, or even acknowledging it much, tbh. But I’ve found in recent years that, rather than looking forward, I gain a lot more from reflecting on the past 12 months and acknowledging what I’ve learned, or how I’ve changed or grown (if at all). My biggest takeaway from this year is hardly a hot take (I’ve been knew all my life) but now more than ever I’m aware that it’s the people in my life (near or far) who keep me sane, help the love in me keep growing, and generally keep me going day to day.
I’m sorting through my photostream to find and share some nice memories from the past year, but in the meantime I’ve found some _stunners_ from the shows and films I’ve been watching on the new TV.
