I got my 'accidental cat' when she was 8 ish, and after almost 11 years of having this smol black shadow following me around like a sheep, yelling at me each morning when I opened the living room door, having me trip over her more times than I can count (because standing right behind you whilst cooking was a total thing), and having way more nicknames than reasonably necessary, today I said goodbye to my lil Rhani.
Rhani, you've looked after me just as much as I've looked after you and life won't be the same without you in it. I love you & will miss you very very much.

Ichneumon wasp in my garden today. Thought there might be some drama for a second when it was sussing out some kind of egg sack. Wasps are both creepy and very cool...the stuff of horror, very apt as we come up to Halloween!
