Looking back over the last 10 weeks since I finally made the decision to go for it and open the business I have wanted to for so long! 🤩
10 weeks to turn around the idea into a business concept into reality … let me say this first….. I would NEVER have done this with out the incredible amount of help I had from many friends who I’ll never be able to repay for that they did for me. ♥️

@this.is.nook is a new space in Inverness unlike anywhere else, but should exist everywhere- a third space where people can go to craft, create, explore new art forms or just enjoy a brew! With no pressure or expectation it’s a truly unique and positive place to let creativity flow 🎨

I hear “I’m not creative” almost every session… usually right before someone makes something brilliant without even realising it. It’s been four days, and already I feel privileged to see what people are creating, it’s wonderful! 🤩😍 it’s not just the creation itself, it’s the creative thinking and inspiration.
FYI - nook isn’t about being perfect, in fact, far from it! It’s about switching off, giving something a go, and surprising yourself a little along the way.
Our house rules stand…. No experience needed, no perfectionism, no comparison, no pressure, no judgement… and no justifying your makes!!
If you’ve ever told yourself you’re not creative… this is your sign to question that 👀 come and see if you can prove me (and yourself) wrong!! 🫶
