I really liked how the car shots looked in Netflix's Lincoln Lawyer. Since it was mostly filmed in Los Angeles, after which GTA's San Andreas is modelled, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to recreate some of the camera work in-game! Take a look at some side-by-side comparisons between stills from Lincoln Lawyer's Season 1 trailer and screenshots from 'Caraboo'.

#machinima is the art of creating a visual narrative within the constraints of something like a computer game. #gta5 and #GTAOnline give you the opportunity to record clips in-game and edit them afterwards in a dedicated Rockstar Editor, so it's a very good tool for such creative adventures. In the end, that's what creativity is, right? The ability to find solutions to problems - and if there are no challenges, it may be difficult to create. Most of all, however, it's fun to challenge yourself and the results can be very interesting! Did you notice that the minimalistic cover for 'III' is a 3D model? That's right, it was made with #Cinema4D and here you can have a sneak peek at what it looks like before rendering the view. I absolutely love the intricate detail that #Redshift, Maxon's flagship rendering engine, was able to add to a scene that barely had anything in it.

Speaking of mixing and mastering tracks, a good blue compressor is a must. Not just because the colour is nice - while 'red' compressors are used to adjust dynamics of single tracks, 'blue' compressors tie multiple mixer tracks together.
Something you will usually find on my master track these days is Kotelnikov, an excellent free tool from Tokyo Dawn Records. Even a factory preset and a tasteful tweak of the 'Makeup' knob will yield noticeable results!
