BIG NEWS! We’re beyond excited to introduce our 2026 Graffiti/Street Art Artists-in-Residence at Lynch Family Skatepark: Victoria DelValle (@thirteenvicarchive ) and Ananda Toulon (@anandatoulon )! Boston-based visual artists DelValle and Toulon built a strong creative relationship through their shared fellowship at @artists.for.humanity , and the 2026 skatepark residency marks the formal project debut of their work as a duo. Together, DelValle and Toulon bring complementary strengths in visual narrative, spray-paint fluency, and community-centered making—creating work that evolves through presence, dialogue, and participation. You won’t want to miss their visual signatures of saturated color and surreal symbolism emerge and flow on the concrete pillar backdrop of skaters shredding all summer. Come celebrate with us at Lynch on Saturday, May 30 (12–4pm, all ages, free!) for “Double Take: Skate, Paint, Imaginate”. Meet Victoria and Ananda, catch live painting in action, skate, connect, or simply vibe. Coordinated alongside @childish.rayvino , the skatepark will have live DJs, treats, skate and apparel vendors, and perfect summer vibes! Music sets and vendor details to come!! Stay tuned 🛹‼️ 📷: @childish.rayvino #lynchskatepark #freeactivitiesboston #skate #paint #livemusic

reflecting on my time in Maine at @surfpoint.me ! I had the amazing honor of working in the Hallam Studio for about a month— exploring the endless onsite art book collection, creating big with spray paint on canvas, daydreaming near the ocean and imaging what’s possible for myself I shared this time with 2 amazing artists @sheyriv @kyleadowns who I will always remember and have so much gratitude for; learning about their process, life stories and sharing meals together We were guided on a nature walk, received great massages, and visited the @portlandmuseum I even had my FIRST EVER studio visit with Ashley @ashleypage.studio from @indigoartsalliance Shoutout to @sbutlerstudio and @yreinharz for making this experience seamless Thanks to @kerry_constantino_photography for the headshots

“finca no. XXXX” 5’x4’ Spray paint & paint marker/acrylic on canvas —— this work is experimental & documentary… in honor of the journey I’ve been having with helping my family obtain legal documentation/ a title for my late grandfather’s casita in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico. I’ve been doing this with the intention to make sure this little house doesn’t get lost and stays in the family, never to sell. A post from @buytheblockpr about the inheritance crisis in Puerto Rico, inspired me to at least try. I was able to connect with Jhansel Núñez-Salcé from @the_closing_company and his patience and knowledge has helped me so much. Big shoutout to him. This was such an investigative process, one of asking my elders questions, reconnecting with family that I’ve been disconnected from, using Regrid/ CRIM databases and understanding Puerto Rican property laws. And all that to say, I’ve come to a roadblock with this process as, of course, it’s more complicated than I thought!!! (My great-grandfather had 18 kids, don’t ask me why) I made this quick, first take painting to capture this moment in time— it features words extracted from a black out poem I made using a heart felt text message a cousin, that I’ve never met, sent after I reached out in hopes to connect & discuss our family’s property… it also alludes to the parcel outlines/maps I researched & an illustration of my grandfather’s casita hoping, one day, to return

“Freedom Through Her Eyes” 23’x8’ ——— today @ the mural reveal celebration for BCYF Blackstone Community Center through BCYF Creates its ovaaaa, we did itttt, it’s doneeeee first mural in da bag ——— A young Black/Brown girl stands at the center—reflecting the girls who helped create this mural. I wanted them to see themselves here: seen, represented, and connected. Inspired by Boston’s Freedom Schools—spaces where young people learned their culture and history—this piece was shaped over six weeks through the teens’ ideas, sketches, and stories. Within her glasses are reflections of the past: Freedom Schools in action and a local church that once held that space. A reminder that the present is shaped by what came before. Water, flowers, and lily pads —drawn from the teens’ concepts—come together in a stained-glass glow, honoring the spaces that nurtured learning and community. A mural rooted in youth voice, history, and shared creation.

This project was rooted in history, shaped by community, and led by the voices of young people who deserve to see themselves reflected in the spaces around them. Join us as we celebrate the process, the stories, and the power of creating something together. Featuring teen artists, a guest talk by Dart Adams (@dart_adams ), a video release by @shotbynums @guapmalice and the official mural reveal. For the past six weeks, I’ve been working with teens at BCYF Blackstone (@bcyfcenters ) through BCYF Creates—an initiative piloted by The Untold Narratives (@liznarratives @tunstories ) bringing high-quality arts programming into community centers. I was brought on to create a mural and lead a series of workshops guiding teens through the full mural-making process from concept to execution. We started by grounding ourselves in community—understanding the neighborhood, sharing personal experiences, and learning local history. From there, we studied murals, developed a collective message, built moodboards, and explored visual techniques artists use to communicate meaning. Then the teens stepped into it, sketching their own concepts for what this wall could become. I used the conversations we’ve had and their sketches to inspire the final design. @shotbynums has been capturing it all. @guapmalice produced original music for the documentation — both of them having their personal ties to the surrounding community. Tomorrow we put paint to the wall. Thank you to Marco, Curtis, Mitchell + the teens for having me 🐙

We about to transform this wall right hereeeeee maaan Shoutout to BCYF Creates ( @bcyfcenters @bostonohs @cityofboston )for the opportunity to work on a mural at BCYF Blackstone — a community center attached to Blackstone Elementary School. This is the school I attended as a kid, right in the neighborhood I was raised in: Villa Victoria in the South End of Boston. Ouf, I love me a full circle moment… Anyway, alongside creating the mural, I’ve been hosting a 6-session workshop series inviting teens at the center to learn the mural-making process from start to finish — from conceptualization to execution. And one of the most meaningful parts of this project has been being able to bring on my friend, neighbor, kin, and collaborator @shotbynums as a videographer to document it all — someone who also attended this elementary school and grew up in the same neighborhood. This project means so much to us– to be able to contribute to our community through the creative practices we’re pursuing as full-time careers feels like a blessing. What a beautiful thing it is to now be culture bearers — to be in the position of planting seeds the same way people once did for us when we were teens. We can’t wait to share more and invite you to celebrate with us in the coming weeks ✨ SEEE YAAA

Reposting about Flow State: Sketchbook Session with a new flyer! I’m partnering with the East Boston Public Library to bring sketchbook sessions to the community. I’ve been trying to be really intentional about building a consistent art practice—one where experimentation, play, and showing up matter more than perfection. And honestly… what better way to do that than together? These sessions are low-stakes, go-at-your-own-pace, and meant to be focused but relaxed. The goal isn’t to make a masterpiece — it’s simply to give yourself intentional time to create something, anything. There will be optional prompts and technical suggestions if you want them, but mostly this is a space to sit, make, and be around other creatives doing the same. Come meet folks, exchange ideas, and see what everyone’s exploring lately Bring your own sketchbook + materials if you have them. We’ll also have basics like loose paper, pencils and some colors available. Let’s practice together, Y’all pulling up!?
