I've recently received some questions regarding the power output of the AE86, with the freshly built K24 now running a 13.7:1 compression ratio with @drag_cartel cams, forged conrods, pistons and all manner of various internal upgrades. The car ended up making 192kw/257hp on straight E85 fuel. There's plenty more potential for power from this motor, but it turns out my 52mm itb's are choking it high in the rev range. But since driving it, I've realised it makes more than enough power to have loads of fun and still has the potential for more in the future with an itb upgrade. Huge thanks to Michael and Scott at Insight Motorsports & @emtronworld for the amazing wiring job and tune now with drive-by wire through one of their KV8 ecu's.

I’ve watched @thirdstrikeben build this AE86 since 2016. As a kid obsessed with cars, his build was one of the very first I followed along!
For those of you who know me personally, I’m all about taste and style. This AE86, this is THE AE86 of all. One of the main reasons I’ve always wanted to work in the automotive industry, and where I developed the taste for drifting.
So when he trusted me to detail it — I won’t lie, it meant everything.
This isn’t just a car to me. It’s years of watching someone pour their passion into a build, and finally getting the chance to show what I can do on something truly special. Every panel got the attention it deserved, because anything less wouldn’t have been good enough.
