‘A Reservoir of Time’, curated by Goh Chun Aik is set to open next year during Singapore Art Week.
Presented as part of the Objectifs Curator Open Call, the exhibition converges the artistic expressions of Lewis Choo, Ge Xiaocong, Goh Chun Aik, Hong Shu-ying, and Ivan Ong to imagine how the past, present, and future can exist simultaneously within a shared space, prompting a re-examination of our perception of time.
Save the date for 20 January 2024, when the exhibition debuts alongside two other exciting #SAW2024 programmes at Objectifs — the 5th VH AWARD exhibition presented by Hyundai Art Lab, and ‘Alternative Ecology: The Community’ curated by Wang Ruobing, featuring works by Eko Prawoto and Post-Museum.

In the vein of highlighting the character of acceleration in Singapore, Wraiths expound on the physicality of this acceleration through the bodies of anonymous individuals who navigate throughout the city. In their navigation and the action of walking, their bodies animate a numbness towards the reality as they transit in all directions

You're A Diamond in the Rough is the philosophy that I work with when I document my daily routines. I am attracted to subjects that are reflected or illuminated by light. Subconciously, this photo series became a dairistic endeavour of me sharing my observations and perhaps represent my reflection on how I feel in a day. 🪵
