A fairly cheap record that I’ve seen dozens of times but always passed on cause I really didn’t like their main single but thanks to the @the_mighty_zaf who did a lovely edit with Linkwood I realized what an absolute monster of a track I’ve been missing out on. If I had just listened to the whole record … how many times have we said that.

Today we look back at some of the events we organized at Pia Bouman studio which was located at 6 Noble. We were certainly grateful to come in during the last few years at the original location.
The groundwork was laid for us by some legendary parties including Over & Over, Captive Audience, AlieninFlux, Promise, Box Of Kittens and a whole host of others who made this place a home for many all-night gatherings.
Pia was more than just a dance school, it was a cultural hub that enriched Parkdale on many fronts.
The school continues on at their most recent location located at 225 Sterling Ave, Unit 103, and continues to teach a wide range of dance programs for all ages!!!
Here’s a collection of the best of the BANG THE PARTY flyer and posters Todd and I made over the course of 10 years. This was probably my favourite creative period as it was my first foray into screenprinting and finally taking graphic design seriously with help of OCAD’s facilities.
If you remember these flyers I hope they spark some fond memories for you !!!
