The MPP (Make Polluters Pay) campaign is hosting a municipal resolution strategy workshop on April 7th over Zoom and you're invited!
You'll hear from experts on their own municipal resolution strategies and we'll share tools to help you get started on passing a local resolution in your own municipality. Resolutions are a key lever for grassroots organizers to apply pressure on elected officials so come skill up!

On Tuesday 2/24, the House Ways and Means Committee started moving a new redrafted version of H.4744, the Energy Omnibus Bill (H.5151). They’re moving fast – ramming a 105-page bill through the Committee in just 45 minutes, but it’s not too late to make the bill better and send a strong message to the State House!
The good news —
This new version incorporated much of our feedback, with many good elements around:
The bad news —
It also includes a massive poison pill in the form of a $1 BILLION cut to the Mass Save budget. TAKE THESE ACTIONS right away! TODAY, 2/25: Call or email your state representative today (it’s OK to leave a voicemail) and urge them to stop scapegoating Mass Save while utilities spend billions on fossil fuel infrastructure and lobbying. Want to do more? Click here to take Sierra Club Mass’ action. TOMORROW, THURS 2/26, 11am: RSVP here to pack the State House during tomorrow’s vote!
Finally got to the Burlington ICE Detention Center gathering after 6 months of trying. The most moving and satisfying bearing witness experience. Plan to go as often as possible. Join us!
Friends, you can really send a strong message if you're strategic about holiday shopping. Don't make Thanksgiving about shopping...make it about Democracy.

We will meet on the State House steps for a skit featuring our legislators warding off vampire utilities and billionaires with garlic bulbs representing our priority bills. BEDFORD RALLY
It was a perfect day to celebrate solar energy; about 70 of us turned out in Bedford. Sponsored by Third Act, Mothers Out Front, and the Sierra Club, the event was held in the Veterans Memorial Park in the center of town. Rev Jamie Hinson-
Rieger from First Parish in Bedford welcomed us with the seriousness of this climate moment; Dean Groves provided us with music, starting off with "Here Comes the Sun." A wonderful solar-powered doll's house was on display with an overhead fan, a radio and lights. Mo's ice cream truck completed the fun.
