On Saturday, May 23rd, The Disco Express returns to Sigurd CPH for a night of vintage disco, house, and soulful dance tunes 🚂🪩🪩💨 @thediscoexpress Hailing from London, this renowned label and party series has taken the global disco scene by storm, hosting unforgettable events in cities like Berlin, New York, Paris, and more. Founded in 2017, The Disco Express began as an intimate loft party and has evolved into a powerhouse record label with over 70 releases. Known for blending nu-disco, soulful house, and everything in between, they’ve garnered praise from artists like Groove Armada, Basement Jaxx, and The Blessed Madonna. With residencies worldwide and a devoted fanbase, The Disco Express is leading a modern-day disco revival. To keep the night pumping, The Disco Express is bringing @tatianabynight_ (UK) and @third_attempt (NO) behind the decks. London-based Tatiana moves between nu-disco, high-energy italo, and soulful house, while Third Attempt brings his dreamy, deeply musical take on disco, house, and underground electronics. Together, they’ll keep the dance floor moving with funky basslines, warm grooves, and plenty of disco spirit all night long. Bjørn Torske & Third Attempt, collaboration work in progress. BT is a legendary producer and artist, and one of the forefathers of the space disco / scandi-disco scene. This week I visited him in his studio in Bergen, in relation to the upcoming Northern Disco Lights 10 year anniversary. Perhaps the most vital documentary on the rise and rise of Norwegian dance music. As a teenager this film inspired me in ways it's hard to put into words. Now it's celebrating 10 in 2026, and my plan is to collaborate with key players from the documentary and Norwegian music history. An absolute honor. Together with the creators @paperecordings / @papervisionfilms , they have pointed me out as a part of Norways new generation of electronic artists, and Ive been hard at work to follow this up. Along with Bjørn Torske ive been recently collaborating with other giants from the scene. Bugge Wesseltoft, Mental Overdrive, Doc L Junior, Charlotte Bendiks m.m. Making one track per head. Me and BT recorded this track in a classical sense. After jamming and recording elements, organic percussion, synths, dusty disco samples and fx. We routed each track to the console, adjusted levels, effects and recorded on the go. Almost like a live-set. Honestly never made a track quite like this. Cant wait to share 📀 And I highly recommend watching the documentary Thank you @paperecordings And to the contributors More to come 🇳🇴
