Five Fifths Performer: Third Space Theater Third Space Theater, founded less than two years ago, has already built a reputation for connecting communities, igniting conversation, and providing opportunities for engagement and action. You may recognize them from the golden-lanyard-winning show "Breach" in 2025 (remember those yellow waders?) or from Artistic Director Alex Church's "Dutch: Made in America" in 2024. What can you expect from their fifth? An intimate and experimental exploration of what makes these characters tick inside and out of the hours of 9 to 5, all set to the pulsing groove of Dolly Parton. Tonight is the opening night of Plano and we are going to perform. What is happening in Minneapolis is horrific and immoral and we are disgusted by the harassment being inflicted on this community. Our community. Our neighbors and businesses are being terrorized and we as individuals are going to do everything we can to show up and support those affected by this ugliness. As a company, we are going to do what we do best- put on a show. Theater is an art form that brings people together, quite literally, in one room to laugh and process and experience something beautiful. It is a reflective and healing act. And in our case, one that also brings much needed attention and resources to our partner organization, @tubmanmn . Their work is absolutely essential, doubly so in the wake of such unprecedented cruelty, and we will continue to do whatever we can to support their mission. Part of the project of this regime is to crush our ability to be in community. To break our sprits and ask us to sink into nihilism. But we will not back down. We will open our doors and give a damn good show to those who decide to join. Tickets are available on a sliding scale, including free. If you need a place to be, we welcome you.
