Twenty-four years ago, on September 11, 2001, 2,977 lives were lost. Among them were 343 firefighters who gave everything in service to others. In the years since, hundreds more first responders have died from cancer and illness linked to their exposures at Ground Zero.
Today, we remember the fallen, honor those still serving, and recommit ourselves to the fight for firefighter health and safety.
At Thin Red Line Decon, we carry this lesson forward every day. Firefighters continue to face invisible dangers long after the fire is out. Our mission is simple: reduce exposure, lower risk, and help protect those who protect us.
