Heaven gained an angel, but our hearts are shattered. Our longtime friend, Dr. Becky Takeda-Tinker, was taken from us way too young. She was the brilliance behind CSU Global, and truly believed that all students deserved access to an education that met their needs.
To us, Dr. Becky was a smiling, brilliant woman whose heart was so big that she wore a heart-shaped diamond. It was only fitting that Valentine's Day was her favorite holiday.
We will forever be grateful for her friendship, her kindness, and her vision in education. We will hold on to the beautiful memories as we navigate this heartbreak, and we send our prayers to her husband, Allen, and her family.
Join us in welcoming the 2026 cohort of MAP Fellows! They are working alongside seasoned nonprofit leaders nationwide to collaborate, learn, and address real-world sector challenges. Each project is designed to inspire bold ideas, build connections, and drive meaningful impact.
We cannot wait to see the results of their work this fall!
Today, we're celebrating two incredible milestones! Every Gift Matters turns 11, and Spirit of the Trail turns 8.
It's inspiring to see the impact these books are still having years later! Grateful to Greenleaf Book Group for helping bring these books to life and sharing them so broadly.
Happy Earth Day!
At MFF, we believe our connection to nature is essential. The investments we make in conservation span the country and the world, expanding access to the outdoors and protecting the resources that communities depend on.
How are you celebrating Earth Day today?
Visited the @jarockymountain mobile today at Fountain Middle School for JA Financial Park. It was incredible to see the energy from the students in the room who were learning about financial skills like saving, budgeting, investing and planning for the future. Thank you so much for having us, we loved seeing this work in action!
The MFF team was at the @csuspur campus today visiting the @coloffa state officers. Our first My Cause, My Corduroy was so successful and reached every corner of the state.
MFF President, John Morgridge, immediately approved a second year after seeing their annual report. "You are the reason this is so special. You have been able to give this money to those who need it most, making it even more impactful."
Congrats to our first cohort. You set the bar high and laid a solid foundation for future cohorts!
We braved the snow to be part of something special at @unitedwaydenver Women United Luncheon.
We were proud to support the event and celebrate our dear friend, Arlene Hirschfeld, as she received the Frances Wisebart Jacobs Award.
Hearing Christine Benero in conversation with Mary Steenburgen reminded us to "say yes, even when it's scary."
We left feeling ao grateful, inspired, and connected. Thank you to everyone who made it such a meaningful event.
We had a great visit with the Student Support Foundation (SSF) club at Arrupe Jesuit High School. Their giving has focused on collaborating with other clubs at the school to give all students access to resources, activities, and fun throughout the year! And we love to see it!

We're in Bentonville, Arkansas this week and loving it! A special thank you to Brady and @peopleforbikes for giving us a bicycle tour of the city and showing us the incredible bike tech program at Northwest Arkansas Community College. This workforce development investment in their community is truly changing lives!
🏗️ Building More Than Housing. Building Futures.
Place of Hope is expanding in a transformational way — with two new 8-unit affordable transitional housing residences and a brand-new 5,000 sq. ft. Compassion Center designed to serve families across our region.
These residences will provide safe, stable housing for single mothers with children, young adults aging out of foster care, homeless youth, and families in crisis. But this is about more than shelter. It is about breaking the cycle of generational poverty and homelessness through structured support, life-skills training, employment guidance, financial literacy, education, mentorship, and trauma-informed care.
When families have stability, children can thrive in school. When young adults have guidance, they can pursue careers instead of survival. When parents gain tools and confidence, entire family legacies change.
