The goal of Loud in LA has always been simple: help more people discover the incredible local bands in our scene. Some of you know the story, but for those who don’t, Loud in LA really started because of my good friends Thing of Twins.
Back in May of last year, Carlos and Lucio kept inviting me to shows. Growing up loving rock music, I started wondering what other bands were out there that had that energy and passion. That curiosity turned into Loud in LA, and over the last year it’s helped me discover so many great bands and connect with this community in a way I never expected.
Last month at Loud in SaMo, we celebrated Thing of Twins release of their EP Evil Twins, six songs that genuinely feel unskippable. There’s a little something for everybody on it, and if you haven’t checked it out yet, this is your sign. Stream it, buy it on Bandcamp, support local music.
At the end of the day, that’s what Loud in LA is about, helping unsigned local bands reach a bigger audience and making sure this scene keeps growing.
